First Aid and CPR saves lives. Students trained through Ultimate Safety gain the knowledge, confidence and skills to deal with emergency situations and prevent injuries. We offer training and refreshers in the following:- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
The HEART and STROKE FOUNDATION OF CANADA recommends annual re-training in CPR to ensure the quality of skills are retained. The intent of the program is to provide the skills necessary to maintain basic life support for a casualty who is both breathless and pulse-less. - Emergency First Aid with Level 'C' CPR
The focus of this program is on maintaining an open airway, assisting breathing, controlling bleeding and preventing further injury until medical care is available. - Standard First Aid with Level 'C' CPR
This Standard First Aid program is designed for individuals who may have a delayed response to Emergency Medical Services or who work in an industrial or high-risk activity setting. The program is focused on Basic Life Support skills. - Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)
This program teaches a responder how to evaluate and manage a sudden cardiac arrest with CPR and AED, until Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is available.
